i would highly suggest getting some different heads, other than the e7's for a motor that big, i have a set of e7's in my car.... still a stock 302 eddy performer, and a b-cam with 1.7's....... they are highly ported, 1.94, 1.60 valves, and they still don't meet close to my expectations....and i think they would starve a 331 etc. for air.... i am saving for a set of AFR's to go on the new motor....... If nothing else i would go with a set of gt-40 heads and have them worked.... just my .02 cents.... jason

Oh and i use the 9011-1's as recommended by Edgar, for the iron heads, haven't had even close to an issue with a few over rev's (damn 4.10's) lol , and a little overheating....

Re: What Head gaskets to use?
i have wondered about the coppers..... are those the kind that you have to put the copper sealant spray on them to seal or the dead soft kind.........??

Re: What Head gaskets to use?
Don't use sealer spray on the SCE's. It causes the silicone seals to fail.
