New member....
Wanted to introduce myself and say that I think I will enjoy it here....
My frend and ,fellow member, TheRock326 suggested this forum and has spoke highly of many people here. Myself and Rock were car partners for several years as I am also an officer for Bham Police. Having known Rock for several years his advice is always trusted by me and I look forward to knowing many members as friends. My first name is Noel and I now work on Southside Bham in patrol. I am 37 years old will mostly be posting here late nights as I work the night shift. It is usually after 1130 pm before I get on line. I have owned 3 Mustangs and all were Fox bodies including my current Mustang that is a Solid white 1992 GT. I very much like the new style Mustangs however just can not get that classic Fox body style out of my system. My current Mustang has been parked for several years. It is in perfect shape however has been completely taken apart with past dreams of building a fire breathing pony that would draw a crowd and rule the streets.....well several years later all my tired pony is drawing is piles of dust. I now plan to get back into the game and renew my love for my Mustang however I have been out of the loop now for many years. Be patient with me as I am sure to have many questions along the way and will need some help deciding what is best for my little build up project. I am going to post a thread in the 5.0 section giving some details of what I am hoping to build. Richard suggested having Pauls shop in Odenville do the work and I spoke to Paul by phone. I must say this man knows his Fords and seems to be a great guy so once I plan my attack I can get started with the build. Thanks for allowing me to join and again I look forward to meeting many of the members here. Since it has been so long since I was in the know about Mustangs I may not be able to help out much with any motor advice to other members however I can always get your speeding tickets fixed...hehe Thanks again and I will keep you all posted as to my build up. |

Welcome to Street Stangs. If you got along with Rich, you'll fit in great around here.
Lots of helpful info here regarding Fox bodies and push rod engines.

Re: New member....
Thanks for the welcome and any time I can help out just let me know. Richard and myself get along well as he is a good cop as well as a good friend. We really did make a good team and that is rare in police work.
I am always in Southside between 3-11pm and just look for car 322. My old number was car 326 and that is where Richard and I worked for years. We have alot of stories between us however that is another story...hehe |

Re: New member....
Hey Jamison good to hear from you....
I just finished taking my Mustang down from the jack stands and I am beginning to feel that old familiar feeling called Mustang Fever. The car had so much dust on it and some kind of freaky animal footprints across the windshield...WTF...it has been kept inside a locked garage and I am now wondering what kind of animal is sneaking in my garage at night. |
