4:10's or 4:30's

should i run 4:10's or 4:30's?

the car wont see the interstate much but probably will once and a while.
also what size tire do you suggest?

mods
-Trickflow engine kit
-24# injectors
-BBK CIA w/ throttle body/MAF
-BBK shorty headers
-BBK O/R X-pipe
-Flowmaster cat-back
-Tremec TKO 500
-SPEC stage 2 clutch
-Dyno tune

its a street car but when it is brought to the track it will be running in the 1/4 i do not like 1/8, more more than anything its a street car. 4:30's caught my attention when i saw they were cheaper and heard RPMS arnt that bad

Depending on your future power gains, I would go with 3.73's. 4.10's will put you in 5th gear at the 1/4 mile traps.

When my car hooks well I almost run out of gear with the 3.73's

imma swap the gear along with my input shaft whenever i decide to get the sc but im asking for a gear with the current mods, what do ya say?

with 4:10's and 26.5 in tires ill still be in the powerband crossing the traps

I had a set of 4.30s in my car last year when I drove it 250 miles to ffw in atlanta, It got 20 mpg on the interstate, and it ran like hell at the track, I put a set of 3.73s in it so I could spray it all the way down the track....It actually slowed down on the motor with the 3.73s...with the 4.30s in it, at 60mph, it was turning about 3500 rpm down the interstate..
