I finally finished everything up. I had a seeping water pump and bought Mishimoto black hoses when I got the long tubes, so I've been slowly chipping away at getting it all done. I relocated the factory coolant temp sender to the thermostat housing and put the AutoMeter sender in the intake manifold.
Other parts of the mini project included a black center console armrest pad, new shifter bezel trim, new pedal pads w/ a manual gas pedal, & ashtray door repair kit to keep the N2O switches out of sight. |

I believe this car is easily my favorite fox body I've seen. Everything on it is as good as OEM or better. Very nice work, as always.

Do you have the ratcheting crimper for the barrel connectors? I was looking at some (I want to buy some that are made in the USA, trying to support our economy) but those jokers were over $100!!!! I found some others that were around $45-50 which is a little more reasonable....Just was wondering which ones you were using.

http://www.rjminjectiontech.com/coll...oducts/crimper They work excellent for all the crimping I did with weatherpacks. I ended up buying several more connectors from somebody on ebay for this little project. You might even be able to get them locally, not sure I never checked. But the shape of the crimp area is critical to get the terminal connected right. |
