queastion
while driving my car when i push the clutch in to shift gears its like my motor revs kinda or the rpm's will not go down its kind of like the motor just stays at the same rpm when i go to shift gears?

Is it revving or does the motor just slow down slower than you're used to? In my experience, mod motors are a lot different than most motors in that they don't just fall right back to idle when you push the clutch in.

My 3.0 does that in my truck. Sometimes it revs to 4k or more when I push the clutch in. Its usally after driving interstate speed for 30-45 minutes. I was thinking it was my IAC,because I know it needs one. It hasnt done it in awhile. Im really not sure what causes it,but turning the engine off does reset whatever is sticking.
