I must be missing something. I don't see where it says "for Fox 'verts with Defrost"

I'm looking in their catalog right now and it only shows 94-04 available with defrost. :P

Re: mustang convertible question

Well damn-it. I just asked my wife, and she thinks the 1991 did not have a rear defroster. She actually drove the car about 80% of the time so she would know better than I.

Like Lee mentioned earlier, I seriously doubt Ford would make some one-off custom wiring harness and custom switch location just for convertibles to have a rear defroster.

Re: mustang convertible question

I'm thinking that defrost wasn't available at all on the vert cars. I went through every sample of a convertable window sticker that I have (86-93, both LX and GT, including 7up and special editions), and couldn't find a one with rear defrost.

But, I'm 100% positive that glass was OEM on them...

Sorry, little late showing up on this thread, I was on the other part of the "discussion Lee got into on another forum"...

Re: mustang convertible question

Getting in on this topic very late......

But, just for the sake of argument. My 94 has a defroster in the glass window. And I know that all the 94 up cars (at least through 98) have the same wiring harness that runs under the console for the vert switch, no mattter if it is coupe or vert

Yeah, I knew 94+ convertible has a rear defroster option. That's why I specified which years in my above statement.

You should already know that everything that is posted on these boards is for the sake of argument.
