so i take it the newer models are the ones with the 8.8? How did you like the 4.0 with the gears and the 5 speed?

Yep, his name's Peter. He raced it in T/S this year and he also frequents the FFW boards. I talked to him on a couple occations and sems like a really nice guy.

There's a picture of him somewhere on this board checking out Janice and Christi.

Now if you were going to swea the axles to a 'stang, you would need both left from the ranger. But yes, they are the same diameter and if you call a salvage yard they would be able to help with the rears.

that is correct or 2 passenger side axles from an Aerostar

I did not know the Areostar would work. For the front I belive you use the Mark VII rotors. They bolt right on.

My buddy has built 2 rangers with 5.0s. didnt spend a lot of money, Headers (that actually fit) oil pan, radiator, and heater box is the most expense. Also my son has a first gen Lighting pickup, with a KB blowzilla (2.2 liter i think) he wants to sell only has like 60k miles? I think he wants around $ 9k.
