Tore down the 5.4 today
Pulled the timing cover and removed all chains, etc
Pulled the oil pump Pulled the heads off Dropped the pistons/rods out Tomorrow I will pull the crank out and take it to make sure it is good or if I have to turn it. Also will take the block to the machine shop next week for a .020 overbore. 333ci of DOHC bliss should keep me entertained for now

How long you reckon till it's in the car? You know you've got a seriously undersquare engine when the diameter of your pistons is less than the diameter of your rod journals
