project blu thunder
in aproximatly 3 weeks its comming out from the covers.
right now i have the 351 5 speed that was in my old 84 coupe going in it, plus i think that it is going to be a lot lighter than the 84. the only thing left to do is put some brakes on it and it should be ready to rock and roll (among a million other things to do). this car is going to see alot of track time, and the only question that i have right now is: what is the biggest tire size that i can put in the rear? basically what im going to have as far as rim size is; 15-5 torque thrust in the back and the factory steel wheel with some skinny dual red line tires in the front (old skool like the thunderbolts in the 60s).

Update!!!
finally the car has a 351w 5 speed in it right now, along with some other suspension stuff. i have built a better jig for the car to roll around on, but hopefully the car wont be sitting on it for too much longer. the only thing this car lacks is random suspension parts, clutch cable, and brake parts. speaking of brake parts, i got some discs brakes off a 70 model torino, so that saves me from spending ungodly amounts of money converting to discs. when i get this car running the only thing holding this hotrod back is the 2:80 gearing in the peg leg rear end. i will just save up and upgrade to a bad ass 9 inch or something. btw this is what my car will look like with the steel wheels/ dual red line tires (last pic).
