That spike is typically caused by the delay of the fuel from the solenoid to the plate. Even though my fuel line is very short, it probably wouldn't hurt to put a longer nitrous line after the solenoid to help delay the nitrous a bit. Either way, the lean spike on that graph lasted less than a second, so it's not as bad as it looks.

Not really any more power made above that pull so no point in taking it further. Considering the massive torque down low, it's likely best to shift before 5400 to keep the RPMs where the torque is the highest.

BTW, buy some cheap 90/10s and 175lb c/o's, slicks/skinnies and that thing should go 9s if you can shift fast enough

Bet I red light B4U

I agree with the shift point. I was just wondering why it doesn't keep making power to the 6000 mark. Mines the same way kinda. It strong to the 5800 mark but then drops off pretty quick.

The weird part is that my peak power dropped 8hp (torque stayed the same)... and the torque curve moved lower into the RPM range -- I would've thought the increased lift would've helped the upper RPM power.

With the rocker change, I was thinking that if I increased the lift that it would maybe give it a bit more power up top, but apparently I was wrong. I'm guessing the duration has more to do with my lack of top-end power. (I can't remember the numbers off the top of my head.)
