Well crap. I went through all the trouble of putting that fender on (knowing it was a 79-90) and the LX bumper extension trim doesn't fit.

So....anybody have a lead on a straight 91-93 driver side fender? I see there is a 92 at the pullapart. I may run out there in the morning to see what I can find.

A couple grits of wet sanding away...

Progress is much slower than I had hoped, but its coming along. We did the first coat of sealer last weekend and I spent most of yesterday smoothing out the bumper & fender. Got the hood wet-sanded and put a final coat on it all.
Last Saturday

After sanding 1st coat of high-build on fender & bumper

hood

bumper & fender

Steve's car is now Vapor Silver Metallic and I pretty sure he's looking into a bronze-ish gunmetal color for his wheels now.

His insurance against my little bottle-fed 302
