My friend with a turbo 347 in a coupe is already having trouble with his TKO 600 and it has literally been down the track only 2 times and does not get driven on the street that often. It would not go into second or third until the rpms dropped a little as if you were driving on the street. The car should run some low 7'ss to high 6's since it trapped 97mph in the 1/8th mile.
Yeah, I was going to get a TKO 600 that was modified from another company. They beef it up even more than what they are stock. But it was really getting expensive after adding up the tranny, the tranny upgrade, bellhousing, clutch and shipping from good 'ol Cali. So this route may be better!

Yea there are several guys that run the Gforce t-5's in NMRA and FFW.

Ahhh, I see. I was looking at the second pick and it looked like one piece.

Yeah, that's one of the added benefits of the G-Force T-5. Also, it weighs a lot less than the TKO.

Sweet!!

Yeah, the cost was getting up there! About 1800 for the tranny, about 400-500 for upgrades, 300-400 for a bellhousing, and another 200-300 for another clutch just started getting waaaaaay expensive. That's getting close to the 3k mark and that's not even with shipping. Sheesh!!

Re: Juiced 331 project update

I got a chance to check out Tommy's progress last night.

The car looks great (engine compartment smoothing) and the engine does too, and those headers, damn nice I must say.

Can't wait to see it running Tommy!

Re: Juiced 331 project update

Juiced 331 will be finished this weekend and hopefully in the car by sunday. Still need to get a 3" to 2.5" mid pipe before I can drive it.
