1963 260 heads???'s
anybodyu know anything about them? i cant find much through google about them ive got acess to some for free and figgured might compare valve size to chamber volume ect. anybody ever stuck them on a 302? maybe beter than e7's?

They're boat anchors. If you come across anybody tossing out some 289 Hi-Po heads though, let me know!

I have (what I believe) are 289 Hi-Po heads on my 302 (they have the crew in 7/16" studs).
They seem to do very well - but please note that on the older heads they take a different intake gasket set, as the water jackets are much smaller the the newer heads. If a new head intake gasket is used they will leak out - I just found this out last weekend. The Fel-Pro 1250 are common between the older/newr heads though.

ok! i didnt know if they might have the same valve sizes but smaller cc chambers so i could up the compression and not lose the flow or atleast not hurt the flow any. but thats what i needed to know! thanks!
