torque box
I am about to do some stiffening on the rearend of my car. I am looking to strenthen the torque boxes and weld up all the seams. What I am wanting to ask is what is a good kit to buy to plate my boxes? I have looked at summit and UPR and the kits are completly different just wondering which one I should get? any advise would be great. Thanks Steven

I have used the "wild rides" kit several times....but there are a ton of "knock-off's" out there now most are about the same....any of these seem better than nothing to me.

Upper is not as critical, but nice to know it's stronger there too.

Get uppers and lowers...get them from WildRides.
there battle boxes are the best around.UPR's are pretty good too. make sure you go ahead and get good solid spherical bushings for the axle housing and control arms too. the upper boxes are needed to because if you do solid bushings and all it will want to pull away from the uppers

well I can't remember where I got my last set, but here's a link to the dimensions of a set (post #2) and then you could have them cut out of some steel and then welded in....
