Nice !! I heard that soft tires (DRs, slicks, etc) hide lots of hp on the dyno. Does anyone know if this really true?

Right. I know a guy w/ an 03 Cobra motor and a 4r70w tranny. Runs high tens, but only puts down 460rwhp on the dyno. But I also heard about sticky tires, but never saw if it was a sure thing or not...

I have pesonally dynoed my car with and without slicks on the same day just to see. On my combo it was about 19rwhp at the 600 hp level.

Good question? I have wondered that too. If they do, then what are the best tires to run to get accurate dyno numbers?

btw: Good numbers Edgar! Looking forward to seeing it run at the track again.
