Re: will this fit under a fox?

it would be pushing it. I wouldn't use it as a street tire. You could probably get buy with it for a track only sized tire. I run 27" Hoosier and I scrub going around corners or if there is any extra weight in the back

What year fox? There is a difference in the inner fenders that changed somewhere around 1989-90. I can't remember exactly when they changed, but the earlier fox-bodies are required to roll the fenders sooner than a later model fox.

Doesn't apply to the rear wheel openings. Only the fronts

Oh, I thought it was at all 4 corners. I've always just rolled my fenders anyway.

Re: will this fit under a fox?

Like I said, if this is a track only car then yes you run a 28" tire

Re: will this fit under a fox?

91' was the first year for the wheel well widening in the front for 16" pony wheels. I'm running 275's DR's on a 17x8" wheel and I have no rubbing issues, but then again it's not a tall tire.

275. Rolled fender does not play a factor on how wide you can go. Only how tall you can go
