it was the fuel pump/strainer combo...replaced them both and slung it around as hard as I could, not a skip to be found.

Good find... Sometimes, knowing what the problem was is more of a relief than the actual fix.

Brian's starting bid was $1.


It was a wire on the ecu/tfi module harness that had fallen on the back side of the passenger header flange. I just cut some slack out of it and put in a weather-sealed connector.

Drove it all the way to Gulf Shores (350 miles) without a hitch...including sitting in traffic in Leeds for 1 hour without moving.

put a jack under one side of the car. This may give you an idea of what is moving. Also use jack stands and shake it up some. Has to be an easy find.
