Like I tell everyone; don't limit yourself to a Ford alphabet cam. You can get something just as cheap that's probably more tailored to the small-ish GT40 heads. I think my old favorite Trick Flow Stage 1 cam would do well.
And I think you'll like a 650 carb better. Get a Demon 650. And 4.10's will work.

with the gt-40 heads. the F cam would make it a terrible slug. I would limit the gt-40 head combo to a low .500 lift cam... Those heads dont breathe well, so it doesnt need a big lift cam or one with alot of duration. If you want to run that Alphabet cam, stick with the b303 or e303...

Is this a street car or a race car? I think 4.10s would be too much for a street car with that combo, but then again, I wouldn't build a carb setup for a street car either.
With those small-ish heads, I'd probably go with a B cam for the extra mid range punch. I agree with Coupe on the Demon 650. 650 cfm is plenty of carb for that setup.

I'm not a big fan of the E-303 on a carbed car. It's on a 110º LSA, which means some overlap...it does only have 220º advertised duration, but the intake opens a little early for my taste (for emissions). If the carb is extremely sensitive, there may be vacuum issues.
Trade it for a B-303 if you can find a trade. Or spend $150 for the TFS Stage 1. You'll love it.
