DO NOT force the rear calipers in using anything like a clamp or prying on them. Like Matt already mentioned, it requires turning the piston to retract it.

I have been successful just using a needle-nose plier. You can hold them apart placing each tip in each of the two notches, and then turn the pliers using them like a spanner wrench. It shouldn't take too much force to turn the piston.

omg, my bad, I forgot they had the screw in ones....shows you how long it's been since I have done this...lol (project going on 3 years +) Thanks for setting the record straight....

Okay, I'm fixing to install the rear and my fronts need to be replaced soon. Will I need to bleed the brake lines or can I just install the front pads and that is all?

You can swap pads without bleeding the lines.
