head bolt ????

i just tore into my 93 351w to check things out before sticking it in my truck. its seems to never been into but driver side head bolts were 11/16 and passenger was 5/8. anyone ever see this?

It could be that someone had to replace a head gasket at one time. The factory bolts are "torque to yield" and aren't supposed to be reused and the replacement bolts they used had a different sized head.

Of course, that's all just speculation.

it had the same head gasket on both sides. but what you are saying makes since.
