He said that so far he has not seen the port respond to a lot of port work...."With A Stock Bore Size" !!.
He is hand porting them and getting a little over 260 cfm on the intake, I didn't bother to ask about the exhaust.

He told me that the port will flow a lot more but it needs a bigger valve and you can't do a bigger valve without going to a bigger bore. So....with a bigger bore, a bigger valve and a new valve seat he can run a CNC program and pick up flow substantially. I didn't ask about that either because I am stuck with a stock bore size for now and it wasn't important to me.

Its 500 bucks to pull the heads apart, hand port and reassemble (I hope I got that right) and he said that as delivered the TFS valve job was right on the money so there is no need to make changes there and that reduces cost of the port job as well.

At anyrate a quick hand port picks up 20 cfm....I think thats a killer deal myself. When my heads are ready to ship I think I will have them drop shipped straight to Fox Lake.

Dale

Heads, cams, upper plenum, long tubes and full exhaust. That is it. The rest of the engine is stock.
