Welding a locker

has anyone done it with good turn out? mine disc are wore out and the ideal has crossed my mind to weld it up.

Works on 4wd trucks pretty well. You would need to make sure you weld to where you can still get your c clips out

If you want it REALLY locked,you have to weld it like this....

I did it on an 81 Malibu I had. It worked. Never broke, but the car only made about 300hp.

Joe u better weld it good! I'm coming for you!! lol I have welded several and had good luck with them in dirt track cars.

yeah just weld the spiders to the carrier and you should be ok.

A spool isn't that expensive..

..but why not get a rebuild kit for crying out loud?!
