What about a spool or mini spool? They're not that expensive,and you can always go back to the traction lock if needed. Plus,I don't have anymore 31 spline spider and side gears laying around.

mini spool is almost a 100 for an 8.8. The welder is free And who would want to go back with that trac loc anyways?

my car has had about 1000 miles on it this year. and a spool u will have to do c clip eliminators or 9 inch ends. i could buy a good locker by that time. plus i think these spider gears have alot of wear on them. plus i only have about 35 bucks in it.

That's more than just a chirp. It's premature tire wear.

If that doesn't bother you, then I guess it doesn't matter. I personally don't like spending more money on tires than I have to.

Yeah,you'd need c-clip eliminators with a full spool,but not with a mini spool.

I know Seco used to have the mini spools on sale all the time for $30-$40,but that's been a couple of years ago. Anyways,just a suggestion.
