94/95 AODE Trans Cooler Lines
Where can I get them new? I saw a set of used ones on eBay for $30, but I'd like to have new. I keep finding them for Foxbody with AOD (should work on the trans side, but not sure about the length/routing difference). Apparently one of the previous owners of my car just patched the line with a rubber hose and it came off in a bad way tonight.Thankfully, I was just moving it around in my driveway, but everything under the hood is covered in trans fluid now and the nice cloud of smoke was a nice addition to my interior.

Or possibly latemodelrestoration would know where or have them.

nope, everywhere I have looked only sells 84-93 for AOD. When I was still working at Valley Ford, you could barely go to Parts with a 5 year old vehicle and get told that the parts were obsolete... I'm sure if they could find some in a warehouse somewhere, they'd be 6x what I want to pay.

Can you not get a flaring tool and flare the ends of the line thats on there and use a coupler to put them back together?

You could also buy tubing from the parts store and build your own

jonosranger, I could but I still don't like 'patching' it.
BIGDATOWN, I don't have time to build my own lines, I start 12hr shifts Saturday.

not really a patch. it is a permanent fix if you flare both ends of the line and use a flare coupler. It would be the same as the ends on the radiator side or the trans side.
