why wouldn't it work ?

would a supercharger off of a 03-04 cobra work on a new 3 valve 4.6 f-150? i know the cobra is a 4 valve but would it really matter ? i got into a dicussion last night and i said it wouldn't work but now i'm curious what changes would have to be made ? i have yet to find a supercharger for a 4.6. they are all for a 5.4

Bolt-holes for mounting it might be a little different.
Other than physically making it fit, there is no reason.

Now, would it require some tuning? yes.

I wouldn't go through all that work for a crappy Eaton. Heat soak sucks.

Alot of work for it to happen. You would need some kind of lower intake and have that adapt to the heads. You would also have to get some kind of bracket to run the supercharger belt with. Not worth it imo.
