4.6 modifications whats best

what are the best bang for the buck on the 4.6 stangs?
ive had the 5.0s for years and just picked up a nice 97 vert
and i was wondering what small bolt on's help these cars the most
I know the pi swap is one and a gear. I read a lot that a throttle body alone doesnt yeild much power without other mods. Any ideas or suggestions welcome. Time to get this 4.6 breathing and moving a little bit. Also I been thinkin about a supercharger, but from what i hear the stock bottom ends in the 4.6 cant handle much of that. So Im looking at naturally aspirated mods for now, and any other little things i should know about the 4.6
Thanks in advance

Exhaust, intake, gears, subframe connectors, and suspension mods are the first things I'd do.

The PI swap will make a big difference, but it's a lot of work (and very expensive if you pay someone to do it). IMO save that for after you've done the simpler stuff. A blower will be safe for about 400 rwhp with a good tune, but any more than that and you'll need a built short block if you want it to stay together.

Nitrous is always the best bang for the buck.

I wouldnt go the bolt-on route. I did it once and will never do it again. Either go with nitrous or a blower/turbo setup. The money to power ratio just isnt worth it with bolt-ons. You'll be lucky to see 300 rwhp with heads and cams.

Nitrous isn't the best bang for the buck when it blows your connecting rods into the oil pan. I personally wouldn't put a nitrous kit (atleast not one big enough to have fun with) on a daily driven 2V without building the bottom end. IMO it's just too big of a risk if you have to depend on the car to get you to work. If it's just a toy, spray it, but be ready to build a motor.

You can run a 125 shot safely on a 2valve. It's all in the tuning.

Like I said, it's just my opinion, but I wouldn't put juice on a motor with rods made from metal powder pressed into the shape of a rod and a plastic intake manifold if I had to rely on the car as my daily transportation.

I too would vote for the blower, bolt-ons are slow and will not get you too far

nothing is wrong with juice on a stock 2v but if it were mine I would at least do an intake upgrade (from plastic to some type of alloy) so that when you have a back fire it doesn't crack the intake
