Exclamation Core support??

How much would a shop charge to replace a core support and fender aprons on a 91 mustang? and what all is involved with that

can a core support and fender aprons be cut off one car, and put on another car? if so, i have 2 parts cars here and i know 1 of them for sure has a good front end

yep, you can interchange front clips from car to car. but if you don't know where to cut them, you should probably just take the donor car to the shop with you.

oh yea, i am not gonna attempt this myself LOL

All i want the body guy to do is replace the core and aprons. i will handle the rest.

Bandit is about right on with his answer. I know 89 Hoss hit one of the body shops we have locally and they were going to charge $600 for the LH fender apron and core support. That included painting the parts too.

I talked to a guy..he says he will do it for 500. Didnt mention painting anything though. But thats fine. i want to do everything except the actual core and apron replacement myself

If you have a straight donor car.Drill out the spot welds around where the fender apron meets in front of the strut tower.Thats the easiest way,that way its the same on both cars.Its around 700.00 labor to have someone take off the core support and put a new one on.

Having drilled out spot welds w/o a spot weld bit...I can see why...LOL
