Temperature gauge not working
When the car's started the needle moves up to about 1/3 the way, then the needle drops back down to C. Im guessing coolant temp sensor?
BTW this is a 2000 5.0 Explorer. |

very possible, make sure its the right temp sender also.

it might have some scale/gunk built up on it,or have a loose connection.
