Heater Core Replacement

Found an 01 GT today for a good price. it had been modded and was not 100% but the price was good. it needed a heater core, which I was thinking was a $1000 job. Dad thought it was more like a $1200 to $1500 job.

What would you guys do it for, or have paid to have it done?

I would expect more in the $300 to $500 range to get a heater core replaced. It isnt the quickest job in the world as the dash has to come out, but it isnt like they are rebuilding the engine.

I agree with joker 300 to max 600 its just a dash.

I won't do it. I have done this on two of my cars in the past and will never do it again. To me it is worth every penny to pay someone $250-$300 to install it
