LOL... I moved here, saw all the monster tachs and thought "man these guys have some fast street cars" ... Didn't take too long to figured out Monster Tachs are the same as fartcans on a Honda...they just MUST be there no matter what.

i have tore 2 motors down to find 1 i can do a stock bore with. so i put the crank in and checked end play and i have 4 on the gauge and put a rod and piston in to see how deep the piston is in the hole at TDC and it is 16 on the gauge. so with the fel-pro Z10112 gasket (.039 in. Compressed Thickness) i am have the block deck .010 to put me in my .045 quench pad range.so it goes to machine shop tues to get decked,cam bearings, and freeze plugs

I would check all 4 corners to see how much to deck the block. I have seen them have .004~.006 difference from front to rear and side to side.
