Times in ......pitaful

LOL well i really don't know how i could compare them to 1/4 mile i did a search for a conversion, but didn't find anything..

My best time of the night was a 8.53 at 83.90 MPH in the 1/8th mile...however i had a 2.2 60 ft, car was spinning pretty badly. I also had to quit making passes, my TO bearing seized on me

but i guess i at least go to play on it some. I will get some vids up prolly tomm if anyone is interested in seeing them..

Well I was running 13.7's with 8.9 1/8's and 2.2 60's

the car was getting faster, as the track got hot, but the to bearing gave up on me...... squeeled once and then died. I think the car has an 8.3 with a little more fuel pressure, less humidity etc... oh yeah some decent traction... gonna wind up with some M/T's now i am pretty sure..

the conversion is

1/8ET *1.56=1/4
1/8mph*1.25= 1/4mph

So judging by your time in the 1/8 you would have been in the 13.30 range at 104mph

That doesn't seem right. I had an 8.72 1/8 and ran a 13.40 1/4. With them calculations it would been a 13.60

They're not meant to be exact just estimates

I've been 8.0@83 but my 60 was .5 lower. I'm sure it has a few tenths in it with better traction.

well with a few more tenths, it should be in twelve second territory n/a. If i am able to hit twelves with the car, i will be extremely pleased. I must add i still had tools, spare, jack and all that stuff in the car.... plus my big but didn't help weight issues.

On MPH they have a nice long formula to convert but i see it works like this, depending if your n/a or force inducted.

1/8mi x 1.57 for n/a= 1/4
1/8mi x 1.55 for power adders
If mild power adder use 1.56.

In my sig though if you compare them, you can't that 1/4mi and 1/8mi times are 1 day and other night and different tracks, when i threw this motor together i was hoping it'd be a 12.50 1/4mi car and by the 1/8mi. it's doable, but hell it's a s/c motor now.
