I ran borla's with an x-pipe on my 93. Great muffler on the street somewhat docile at low rpm's and screams when you are at WOT

I love the sound of my spintechs! I run Mac P-specific shorties into a 2 1/2" o/r x-pipe, then I used the factory tailpipes. I used to have the exhaust dumped right at the mufflers, but it was way too loud. Anyway, it's all subject to your opinion, but I find it much more aggressive than an h-pipe w/ flowmaster setup.

I had a set of spintechs sportsmans with a X-pipe and they sounded awesome! I had turndowns with un-equal length headers and when I sold the car I pulled the muffers off and put a set of flows on it to sell it because I wanted to keep the mufflers. lmao. I still have them in the basement and I plan on running them on my black coupe I;m fixing to build. I wish I had a sound clip of my car but I don't. It sounded a lot like flows at idle or driving around. Not quiet but close but when you stabbed off into it it sounded different and it sounded FREAKING AWESOME! I loved it! I woould say SpinTech. No wait I would say go with Borla because I want my car to sound different than yours! lol J/K!

believe it or not.........my '98 has Ford stamped mufflers........
It's the most unusual sound I've ever heard.....I cannot describe it but to say it aggrivates me and they will be changed when I do the new exhaust system......
