cost of a cage installation?

i know some of you have your own shops, and some of you have also had it done, and i am wondering how much its costs to get a shop to install a cage in your car

i would probably look to get an 8 point weld-in cage.

is it cheaper to buy the kit or have the shop go ahead and fab one up for you...

also if anyone knows the cost of a weld in subframe installation thatd be great too....

Especially for one that's custom bent for your car. Not the one size fit's most type. You'll be alot more happy with a custom, because they can get the tubing further out of the way then the out-of-the-box kits will be.
