I plasma-cut some 1/4" plates and welded to the torque box base and subframes. The lower part is where they tear.

I got the torque box kit installed. It was a job because the passenger side was alittle, to say the least, screwed up. The box was fine but the floor was buckled right in the middle. I had to beat the floor back down to put the top plate on then after putting the bolts in good and tight I welded it solid on top. I could not weld it solid in the box but welded what I could. I also found some rust there as well and repaired it to. The Quarter windows were leaking when I got the car and it looked like it was from that. All I like is welding the drivers plate down and I will be done. Except for cutting the springs.

I am in the process of doing that. I am also welding the lower boxes all the way around as much as possible. I was wondering do I need to weld the thin part of the lower that goes to the floor pan? I welded some of it but it was a pain in the butt?? Just wondering. I sent you a PM on SCF about the roll bar. Thanks Steven
