yes i'm using the shifter that came with it,i believe its a hurst billet shifter it shifts great into all gears can't see how i could miss a gear the spring in the shifter is tight lines up on 3 and fourth great just push up as fast as you can and it goes into 3rd automatically.... but i might end up poping the clutch without being fully in gear, it has a longer throw than i expected but from where first gear is to where 5th gear is it seems to be about 3-4 inches.i'm also looking for a good deal on a triax shifter...

Yeah, I thought the same thing until I started shifting it at high RPM. In a racing situation, my TKO500 doesn't like to hit 3rd gear fully and I get a big
'neutral rev' when I accelerate into 3rd gear. Right now I'm just granny shifting into 3rd until I get my Tri-ax hoping that it will fix this issue. If it doesn't, Tremec's going to get a call from me.

I have had the Triax since I installed my TKO 600 and I love it, cant really compare it to the one that came with it cause I never drove it with that one.

Congrats on the 12 sec slip Triggz. As for the bottle pressure, the NOS bottle heaters cut off at 85* which would always put my bottles at 900psi, I am geussing that is where there kit perform optimally. I have had my pressure at 1100psi with a dry NOS kit and the solenoids would not work but as soon as the pressure got to 900ish they would work fine.

Get an NX solenoid and you won't have that problem. I know that my N2O solenoid hasn't failed me up to 1200psi and I have purgerd at 1600 without an issue.

Their solenoids are guaranteed to open at pressures up to 2000psi!

Well, I put the shifter on last night and it didn't help. It seems to maybe be a bit more precise, but it didn't help the 2-3 shift at all.

I'm conviced that I either have a bad tranny, or TKO's are just sturdy transmissions that don't shift worth a shit.
