Won't turn over
O.K. I just got my new 4v motor in my GT. I have hooked up all the connectors, plugs, hoses etc. I put the battery in, all gauges came up, lights on, but won't turn over. Is there something I am missing? I checked the starter it has power to it but not turning over, but i did notice the starter is actually broke- the sylanoid is broke off the starter. So i arced power from the hot to see if it would activate it did. So is it an ignition problem? Could it be a ground? I'm sure it is something simple, but i just can't think it through right now lol. Any suggestions?

The starter is broke? Did you replace it?

Yeah it's broke-broke like in half. Waiting on my friend to go to work tomorrow so he can get me a discount on a new one.

FIXED AND RUNNING I threw and old starter that I had in the shed,and still nothing rechecked fuses- they were good. it turned out it was just a loose ground.
