alum driveshaft

What is the reason for getting one? should i spend the money on one or spend it else where?

Just less rotating mass. I wouldn't put it at the top of the mod list.

when they were a lot cheaper it wasn't a bad swap but they cost alot now probably not really a worthwhile mod anymore

first thing I did to my car. got rid of a lot of vibration in the shifter and drivetrain. but thats about it. worth getting if you can find one cheap. not sure how worth it it is with the modular cars. I've driven a few mod cars and there seems to be a bit less vibration stock than the fox.

2yrs ago I did a comparison at the track, it was the year Edgar came down to Steele to test with me. the alum driveshaft was .02 quicker than the steel one in my mustang. I bought the driveshaft used, so It wasnt much in the costing area.
