It is soley the AFR change that makes the HP increase on a stock setup. If the car has been modified then it is a combination of the two, but still mostly from the AFR.

Well, although a 90mm may be a little much, you may be forgetting how small and restrictive a stock 88-93 MAF really is. . .

It may be restrictive, but not enough to really make a stock car suffer. It does progressivley help when you add other power adders.
