no I did not. there was no need in removing the rivets. they cleared the heads by at least 1/16"

I can't justify spending another $180 on a set of gaskets that only lasted 100 miles (if that) especially when both cometic and AFR say they will not work on the 165 heads because of the extra cooling channel.

The 9333's have done well. I had around 6k miles on them. I think the extra boost I saw the other day is what killed them

I still think it was detonation, boost alone won't do that kind of damage to a head gasket. Plus alot of guys on turbomustangs run those head gaskets with no problem making more boost and more power.

As do I.....
I think that the load calculations are still
off because of the maf causing the EEC to
use the wrong row in the spark tables......

Lee called me werd for that idea though....

Yeah, I recall someone telling him that we should do some load scale datalogs soon since we have a tune that allows us to log WOT now.... oh well, I guess it's too late for that now.

Re: Felpro 9333 head gasket limit......

Can someone describe the "9333" to me? I'm not sure about these gaskets and I am going to be needing something to hold boost. I was going to go with the "Graphite" from Ford.
