Re: Battery ?
i will look into it a little more detailed in the next few days. the reason i am considering the deep cycle is because the car probably wont see more than 500 miles in the next couple of years. so i need something that can withstand long periods of setting. but i may save the money on the deepcycle and just get another charger for a standard battery.

Re: Battery ?
I have a Red top in the '85, the car is hardly ever driven and it has never struggled to turn over the engine.
My brother has a Yellow Top in his car trailer for the winch. He never charged it, and it lastest about 7 years or so, and never struggled to pull the car into the trailer.

Re: Battery ?
did anyone have any fitment issues. i think i remember reading somewhere in the past that the optima was too large to use the factory hold down.
