what kind of modifacations to the hood are we talking? also got any idea where that info could be verified. always got to be something difficult.

Shorty, I have mentioned something to him about the height of his struts before. When I installed mine, I had to place washers to maintain the the same level of the original struts. I believe the Tokico's are the same way, but like Brian said he must have lost those spacers. You shouldn't have to modify your hood to install them.
