how big of a pain was it? was there enough wiring etc to make the move easy?

I had to extend two or three wires (cant remeber, was over a year ago) for the HVAC controls, other than that, just basic fabrication. I used a piece of sheetmetal for the backing plate to the trim piece.
Took about a month to figure out the best way to do it (didn't want it to look like garbage) - those plates from gaugeplates would make it a lot easier... |
