Yes. Although I don't recommend it, I have a dyno sheet where I made either 532 or 536 on my stock 160k mile pistons..

I probably wouldn't go that far either, but 400-450 would probably be safe and a lot more power than he'd get out of a mild 331.

400 would be nice! i do not know much on the limits on the pistons.

I have entertained the idea of a Vortech but that might end up being more than I can afford and I am very reluctant to purchase a used one.

I am just in the beginning stages of investigation and I appreciate everyone offering opinions.

Im pushing over 550rwhp with my Hypereutetic pistons in my 351w. I have a friend making 430rwhp with a stock 95 mustang short block with about 130,000 miles on 9psi. he's running an f-cam, afr185's, and a gt40 lower intake with a box upper, and 42# injectors.
