Gauges

Is there some sort of relay or sending unit for the temp gauge mounted under the hood..........My Temp gauge has never worked and although the car does not run hot,I stay a bit nervous since I can't see my normal running temp.

any input would be appreciated.

Re: Gauges

Theres a temp sending unit on the intake. Its a yellow/golding color. Its near the front on the driver side. You can get a new motorcraft one from 50 resto or possible the Ford dealership.

Re: Gauges

I think its in the cluster Crimson. If I remember correctly, I replaced the sending unit when I had the car. I could be wrong though. They are not that expensive so you could just go ahead and throw a new one in to try out
