Although....I doubt it will be in the same price range. Unless comparing to KB's. Since most all turbo kits for '96-up include front suspension pieces. They're usually $6000 plus.
And they take a long time to install--tick, tock, tick, tock.......

I knew the 4v's came with a new k-member, wasn't sure about the 2v's

Todd for what you're wanting just go with a used vortech or procharger p1sc, either will work fine and price won't be too bad. A vortech will be fine without an intercooler, they don't produce that much heat until you run a small pulley anyway and I figure you'll want to stay around 8-10psi with the higher compression and stock short block. The KB or turbo would be cool but very expensive and not worth it if you want to stay around 400rwhp which I would do if I were you. When you start chasing the big HP numbers sometimes it takes the fun out of it and becomes frustrating so keep it simple and fun.

I agree with the Vortech and intercooler combination. Worked well on Wall's cobra

I would love to do a Turbo setup, infact Modular Powerhouse is working on their own in house kit that is modular in the fact that you can buy it as a single, then add on the twin when needed. The issue is having to change to a Tubular K-member and A-arms...just too much of hassle for a DD.

Trust me though, I've thought about it

I've pretty much made up my mind, Procharger/Vortech, now to unload a certain vehicle then search for a used kit.

BTW the coupe is coming along, got the window motor and door panel installed. I re-dyed the seats black...dang they look new! All I have left to do if figure how to get the driverside seatbelt undone(TJ put a dime in the latch, when I put my seatbelt on it wouldn't come undone...had to crawl under the seatbelt at the gas station to get out). Then I'm going to get the door window frame fixed...gotta get some quotes and she'll be ready to sell.
