My car runs beautifully, until you enter a hard left turn. Then it starts skipping and bucking and generally raising hell until you straighten out. After that it's fine. It does it whether under acceleration or idling. Any ideas?

You likely have a wire shorting out somewhere -- maybe a MAF wire?

One other thing I thought of was a fuel-pickup issue. Does fuel lever make a difference? Maybe something in the undercarriage/suspension moving and pinching a fuel-line in the back during the turn?

That probably wouldn't be the issue since he said it also happens durring idle; there's not enough fuel consumption at idle to cause that problem in the short period of being starved in a turn.

. . . Besides, he's turning the wrong way for that to be the issue.

check for a shorted out spark plug wire against or near the headers. it could be flopping over when you turn or being pushed/pulled by steering shaft

update. for sure, It's not a plug wire.

when I said it would do it at idle, it's only when rolling. Sitting still, it isn't doing anything, going straight, it will turn up to 6200 without a problem...but it started doing it on right turns today. It does take longer, however, before it starts skipping on right turns.

It's not a MAF wire, they have about 3" of slack in each wire.

As for fuel level, no difference...1/4 tank or 3/4 tank, it still doesn't like to turn.

Did you check the wiring on the MSD box?

I've unintentionally left the distributor cap clips loose before and the car drove, but would miss like that... just a thought.
