I wouldn't think so. To my knowledge all 302's had the same bolt pattern

Yes they have 2 different bellhousing setups. Casefill and Panfill, the casefill is smaller this is the one you need for the fox bodies the full lengths headers work without any issue. They made a c5 in the early 80's these were casefill also and will work fine. The only difference that I know is fine thread and coarse thread on the band adjusters.

hmmm so maybe this is just the small bell housing c4. he said they only put these in the cobra 2s. he may just be wrong. i knew the case and pan fill styles but he is saying this one is not the same as ether of those.

Yes the bellhousing unbolt. The smaller bellhousing bolt to the case threw the front pump. Large bellhousing have their own set of bolts that hold them to the case. I beleive all case fills have the smaller bellhousing. As far as corba II having a even smaller bellhousing I don't think thats right.

Yep,one was a 157 tooth bellhousing,where the other was a 164 tooth,and Like Marc said,one was a case fill (157 tooth),and the other was pan fill (164 tooth).

and the c5 had different servos and clutch pack differences. i wanna say a normal c4 has 5 for first and second and c5 and c6 shared the same amount of 6. but the c4/5 shared just about everything else.

You have to be careful about depth of bell and what convertor matches because there are 2 depth bells for the case filled 6 3/4 and 5 7/8 inch and the pan filled is 6 1/4 deep.

Flywheels are screwey too...Those mustang II's had a smaller flywheel (Like 148 tooth) along with a clutch that we cannot even get parts to build anymore. Definitely the "red-headed-stepchild" of the mustang world.
