Got a question on my GT-40's!

Ok,got my heads on teh brown truck yesterday, and I was checking them over tonight when I noticed something strange,1/2" headbolt holes! The heads are in excellent shape,so I'm not bitching. The guy I bought them from said they came from a '96 Explorer. My question is,since they have the 1/2",instead of 7/16" holes, could they possibly be Lightning heads?

if they have 1/2 head bolt holes then they came from the windsor or he had them drilled out...doesnt matter much to you though...same head

Or sleeves that fit the 1/2 hole and make them 7/16. I think I have a set at the shop I'll give it a look today.

Got to doing some checking, and I forgot about the headbolt change on '94 and up!,they went to the torque to yield type, with the integral washer heads on the bolts.I noticed the markings from that type around the bolt holes.I should've remembered that considering I rebuilt a '95 302/V-8 swap on a V-6 SN-95 a couple of years ago! But I might still need those bushings.
