AOD gear ratios?

Does anybody know if the AOD's came with different ratios for first through third gear by application? I know there's an ID tag on the tailshaft housing that might give some info,but I don't know of a decoding chart. I'm just wondering,since mine originally came from an '86 Cougar which was probably geared more for MPG than performance.

apparently not. This all I have

1st = 2.40
2nd = 1.47
3rd = 1
4th = .667

I use to have some gear ratio information wish I couild find it.I have an aod with wide ratio motorsport gears.
