"I want to know how it handles with the traklink. Looks good. "

Hopefully I will get to the track in May, I will let you know.

"I forgot you were with us on the day of the waterfall pics"

Yeah, that was a great trip, and an awsome place for pictures

"I really like the M3. I almost bought a yellow 98 M3 awhile back"

It is a great DD that can seat five so for us it is a second car.
Good acceleration, excellent handling/braking and gets 26 MPG in mix driving.

Actually I really like blue, it just kind of worked out that they are all black.
Long term if I keep the'85 I want to paint it a lighter metallic blue with white strips (like the original Cobra's).

And I was really looking for a blue M3, or a yellow one, but could not find one that I could afford.

I will say when they are clean Black looks awsome

Wanted to post up an update on the Cobra and the M3 (leaving out the '85 since it has it's own thread now).

Cobra - Last fall I helped a nieghbor get a '71 Chevelle running that had sat for 5 years, in return he is letting me keep the Cobra in his poll barn this winter for free!!!
Last summer the odometer rolled over to 100k miles, I ended up driving it about 750 miles or so, mostly with the three kids in it and a couple of cruises with the wife.
For now it is sleeping.

M3 - This car is an awsome driver, it reminds me alot of what made a good fox body car, light weight (3100 lbs) and decent hp (240), the redline isn't wild, but is 6500 rpm, it still pulls good at lower rpm's too.
The car feels very nimble and handles great (attribute alot to the low wieght).
It is pretty good in snow too, the stability control does a real good job at limiting wheel spin, and it is fairly easy to recover when sliding side ways. Turn off the ASC and the sky is the limit, very easy to throttle steer and spin it (in empty parking lots of course).
I will say this that if I was introduced to these when I was younger (and could afford them when I was younger) I would be hooked on them.
